We are pleased to announce details of our Members’ Conference, which takes place in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sligo, over the weekend of 19th to 21st October, 2018.
Adults’ Programme
The adults’ programme, we hope, gives a mix of educational and practical interactive sessions for all. On Saturday, the programme consists of a lecture on understanding the terminology of novel treatments, a debate, peer support groups and a talk on benefits and entitlements. On Sunday morning we have organised a ‘Wellness Workshop’ which we hope you will enjoy.
Youth Group Programme
The programme for the youth group will include team-building exercises, educational talks, a visit to the Eagles Flying Farm, swimming and lots of other activities. The youth group will the adults on Sunday morning for the ‘Wellness Workshop’, after the coffee break. The Youth Group will be based in the hotel for the weekend. The Youth Group programme is for children aged 13 to 17 years.
Kidlink Programme
The Kidink group will enjoy activities including parachute games, swimming, exercise, arts and crafts, will visit Eagles Flying Farm and will attend a talk on nutrition. The Kidlink programme is for children aged 8 to 12 years. The Kidlink will not be involved in the full group activities on Sunday morning.
Cubs Programme
The Cubs group will enjoy activities including arts and crafts, educational games, arts and crafts and will visit Eagles Flying Farm along with the Kidlink and Youth Group on Saturday afternoon. The Cubs programme is for children aged 4 to 7 years. The Cubs will not be involved in the full group activities on Sunday morning.
Crèche Programme
The Crèche programme for children from 0 to 3 years will be packed with fun and games, arts and crafts, educational games, movie time and story time. The Crèche will not be involved in the full group activities on Sunday morning.
