The year 2015 was a good year for fundraising for the Society with many events taking place. On behalf of the staff and board, a big thanks goes to everyone for their fundraising efforts in 2015. We really appreciate the tremendous support given and for all the generous donations and contributions made to our Planned Giving Appeal. The effectiveness of our work depends on our supporters, not only to raise funds but to raise awareness of haemophilia and other related bleeding disorders.  The Planned Giving Appeal allows us to provide the apartment facility for members, attending hospital appointments in Dublin and we are also actively involved with Vietnam and contribute to the development of haemophilia care globally through the World Federation of Hemophilia GAP Programme.

Our thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to organise and take part in fundraisers, which this year included a Raffle/Cake Sale, sale of CDs by The Twigs, a Fight Night, a Pink Hair Dye, London to Paris Cycle, a Bucket Collection, the Cork Mini Marathon, the Women’s Mini Marathon, Movember and the Comedy Night in the Laughter Lounge.
