DESCRIPTION:We are happy to announce that our 2025 October Members’ Conference will take place over the weekend of the 17th to 19th October\, in Mount Wolseley Hotel in Carlow. Our adults programme is packed with informative sessions looking at treatment and developments in bleeding disorder care as well as fun sessions like a debate and an activity on Sunday that will get the whole family involved. The children’s programmes feature exciting activities such as swimming\, photography and comic book making! \nAs we are expecting a lot of interest in this event\, we encourage you to get your booking in soon as you can to avoid disappointment. \n \n  \nAs we are now full up\, registration is closed. SUMMARY:Women & Girls with Bleeding Disorders Information Day 2025
DESCRIPTION:Registration is now closed. \nWe are delighted to announce a Women & Girls with Bleeding Disorders (WGBD) Information Day in November 2025. Taking place in the Grand Hotel in Malahide Co. Dublin\, this event is aimed at both adult women and young girls (10 years of age and up). This information day will feature talks on menstruation\, paediatric care\, pregnancy and menopause\, from leading physicians in this field. We warmly invite you to attend this information day\, which we hope will help promote awareness of the needs of WGBD\, as well as serving as an educational event. \nWe are pleased to provide a Children’s/Teenagers’ club for the young girls attending the information day. Girls and young adults are very welcome to attend all the talks\, however\, if you would prefer not to have your child attend some/all of the talks\, we are delighted to give you this option. \nWhilst our WGBD information day is free of charge\, you must register to attend. You can do so on this page or by filling out the form sent out to relevant members. If you would prefer\, you can also call Lena in the office on 01 657 9900 to book in.  \n  \n \n  \n  \n

This free of charge educational event will feature presentations from leading physicians and healthcare professionals specialising in bleeding disorders. The programme will cover a range of topics relevant to women and girls at different stages of life. \nThis event is open to women and girls with bleeding disorders\, as well as carriers and possible carriers. Girls and teenagers aged 12–17 years are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
